More History of Cannabis Use

Image
Ancients enjoyed the myriad health and psychodelic benefits of cannabis.  Hopefully the wisdom of the ancients will take hold of federal lawmakers and the federal prohibition against a plant that is both healthful  and enjoyable will soon end. It has damaged more than enough folks lives over the last 100 years. Scientists Find Ancient Humans Used Weed 2,500 Years Ago, Too Dense patches of wild cannabis grow across the mountain foothills of Eurasia from the Caucuses to East Asia. Robert Spengler An association between weed and the dead turns out to have been established long before the 1960s and far beyond  a certain ur-band’s stomping grounds in San Francisco. Researchers have identified strains of cannabis burned in mortuary rituals as early as 500 B.C., deep in the Pamir mountains  in  western China, according to a  new study  published Wednesday. Look To the Ancients

How the Ancients Used Cannabis- 8000 Years Ago It certainty seems that ancients were a whole lot  smarter than the moderns ln the USA government legislators. Without a doubt! labroots - Cannabis is one of the oldest known psychoactive drugs. Used in cultures around the world for thousands of years for various reasons. From making clothes to being eaten and relieving people from pain, its relatively recent classification as a Schedule 1 Drug in 1970 seems to be a small blip in its long history.  The first recorded usage of cannabis is from 8000 BC, in an ancient village in Taiwan. There, it seems that the Taiwanese chose hemp fibers to spn into the first fabrics, thus no longer relying on animal skin for clothing. Further evidence has been found suggesting that these ancient people also used marijuana to manufacture shoes thanks to its sturdy nature, wide availability and cheaper price point than silk.   As time progressed, so did the usage of cannabis- soon being used in more fields

Did Jesus Partake of Cannabis and Use It in Ritualistic Healing

Image
I am not now and never have been a religious person. I did read the bible and a bit of the Koran before deciding that religion is nothing really but an organized way to play with folks minds. But of course that is just me and as in most things there certainly is room for disagreement. But that is not really the point of this post, Jesus Christ we know was a real person. We also know that in his day he was a passionate religious firebrand and as a result he was despised by Jewish holy men of his day. And thus Christianity was born and Jess was crucified on the cross. Anyway, I've found myself musing about whether Jesus might has used cannabis himself lor kin his healing of others. So I did a bit of digging and the following is what I found... Herb -  Comedians love to speculate that Jesus didn’t have magic powers, but rather he was a savvy magician in a period when a simple card trick must have looked like sorcery.  Instead of magic tricks, though, studies show that Jesus likely

The American people are growing more and more suppprtive of cannabis use in America. Especially medical cannabis. Although an overwhelming majority of Americans support recreational cannabis use as well. Americans in majority understand the many benefits that nature's wonddrous gift to humankind has to offer. Sooner or later the natsayers will all fall away and America will decriminalize cannabis at the federal level and l;egalize it fir all to use. It's only a matter of time. News Out Of Illinois

News out of Illinois proves cannabis provides revenue for states (in the millions of dollars) as well as a myriad of health benefit for millions of intelligent and educated folks. It's Time To Decriminalize and Legalize At the Federal Level

Bob Marley was known for his love of cannabis. For him it was all about individual freedoms and individual choices. In so long as the choices an individual makes hurts no one he or she should be unencumbered by a large overbearing federal government. Marley was right in his time and his sentiments remain right today. It is time for the big overbearing and over judgmental feds to decriminalize cannabis and make it legal for everyone over 21 to purchase and use as they see fit. And all folks languishing in prison for cannabis use or sale convictions should be set free and their records expunged. Unfortunately President Biden seems to be walking back his support for decriminalization and federal legalization of weed . Also, two democratic senators are still stuck in the archaic muck of yesteryears embrace of Refer Madness and Demon Weed mentality. IE that a perfectly harmless herb is a gateway drug to harder and addictive drugs. That is patently false. We'll acknowledge that for tho
