Biden Administration To Push For Lossening Of Cannibis Restrictions On Athletes

Image
One of the world's fastest runners, a young black female, has been suspended by the Olympic Committee and will be barred from competition in the upcoming games due to her cannabis use.  To its credit the Biden administration is pushing the Anti-Doping Agency for a meeting to loosen restrictions on canabis use by athletes. A very good and noble thing. Albeit belatedly. Perhaps this will be the back door beginnings of the Bisen administration actually doing something about the antiquated and immoral prohibition on cannabis at the federal level.. On to the article. Star sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson was left off the US Olympic team because she tested positive for marijuana. The White House is seeking the meeting through the US Office of National Drug Control Policy, which has a seat on the foundation board of Wada, the international body responsible for governance of anti-doping in global sport, including the Olympic Games. The board is next scheduled to meet on November 25, but the

"Canna-Tourism"

Image
Planning your summer vacation? Consider a cannabis friendly location for some great high times! On to your "canna-toursm" article. Stoner -   Globally, things are changing for that plant with the star-shaped leaves. Uruguay, Spain, Portugal, and Canada are just a few of the countries worldwide that have either legalized or decriminalized marijuana around the world. In the United States alone, you have Washington, Oregon, California, Colorado, Massachusetts, Maine, Alaska, Nevada, and Washington, D.C. They have all legalized the recreational use of the drug. However, this means that there are still many states that have kept it illegal to use, cultivate, or possess. There is a silver lining in this disparity. For those in  legalized states and countries , a growing industry dubbed “canna-tourism” has blossomed, and several places have become vacation destinations for medical users and cannabis connoisseurs alike. But where to go, where to go? Well, make your flight reservatio

“The rules are the rules and everybody knows what the rules were going in,” Biden said. “Whether they should remain the rules is a different issue, but the rules are the rules.” And in that simple straight forward statement President Biden clearly indicates he is perfectly happy with the archaic & punitive cannibis prohibition the federal government has pursued since Richard Nixon. Do not plan to see cannabis legalization at ther federal level during the Biden administration. It simply ain't gonna happen. The Many Ways To Enjoy Cannibis

Image
CLN - Cannabis has been consumed for millennia in various parts of the world because of its health benefits. Modern science and medicine have rediscovered their efficacy in treating inflammation and chronic pain and have been coming up with new ways to utilize the plant. One of the most common ways of extracting cannabis’s active chemical compounds, CBD and THC, has been smoking it. The  legalization of marijuana  for medical (and in some cases even recreational use) in several jurisdictions has prompted an upsurge in people using cannabis. Unfortunately, many people are reluctant to smoke it, largely because of the ingrained stereotypes in their minds of cannabis users. Others, like those with respiratory conditions, can’t consume cannabis via smoking.  Smoking also presents risks to people in good health, including respiratory, head, and neck cancers, and long-term lung ailments including bronchitis, emphysema, and COPD. What do you do if you still want to get all of cannabis’s be
